The Object Image Gallery presents a new exhibition of new works by Thomas Hagen. A master at capturing a sense of time and place Mr. Hagen‚s works have been a highlight of past B.W.A.C. shows on the pier and he has shown numerous times at the Object Image Gallery. According to gallery director Bob Weiss, ‘‘This is Tom’s second one person show at the gallery and it has been greatly anticipated. Tom’s scenes of Brooklyn reach out to people with both the skill they are executed and how his vision of the commonplace.” Many of the paintings in this show are of the changing scenes along the Red Hook piers and the quiet corners of Prospect Park. Originally from Minnesota Mr. Hagen is a graduate of California’s Otis Art Institute. The show includes oils on canvas and panels as well as gouaches and watercolors.
