Janet Yake began to explore the possibilities of the monotype in 1978. She has become a master of the medium. The subjects of her work is mainly common place interiors and still lifes. Ms. Yake has shown her work in one person shows at the Fitch-Febvrel Gallery and the Galleria Grafica in Tokyo.
