Laura Fantini lives and works between Brooklyn and Bologna, Italy. She has exhibited her intensely realistic colored pencil and mixed media pieces in both Italy and the United States. She was a finalist in 2003 and 2002 for the Premio Arte, Milan, won the first place Award in the Premio Culturale Panta Rei, Bologna. In 2008 she was selected by “Profilo d’Arte”, Banca Profilo among the most interesting emerging Italian artists and exhibited at the Museo della Permanente in Milan. She was awarded first Prize during the “First Annual Sylvia Glesmann Floral Exhibition”, at The Salmagundi Club in New York in 2010.
